The results of the 46th International Physics Olympiad 2015 are a reflection of the value systems and meritocracy in different countries. The 46th International Physics Olympiad 2015 was held in Mumbai, India from 5th July 2015 to 12 July 2015. The competition was organized by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education,which is affiliated with the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai.
The Government of India supported the Physics Olympiad 2015 through the following government organizations
Department of Atomic Energy (DAE)
Department of Science and Technology (DST)
Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD).

The physics olympiad for secondary school students consisted of theory and practicals with the total amount scored used to award gold, silver, bronze medals , More than 250 students from all over the world participated in the physics olympiad
